Nu Alpha Kappa is a Latino-based fraternity that encompasses and values all cultures. Often referred to as “NAK”, Nu Alpha Kappa was founded on February 26, 1988 in California Polytechnic State University and has 26 established chapters across California, Colorado, and Nevada. Founded November 22nd, 1992, at California State University Fresno is home to the Epsilon Chapter, also known as RED ARMY.
One of Nu Alpha Kappa’s many philanthropy events is known as NAKLand. NAKLand is a festival open to the public, an event to celebrate “El Dia de Los Niños” (Children’s Day) which has been celebrated since 1925 in Latin America. The event has a variety of inflatable jumpers, dunk tanks, carnival themed games, food, and toys at no charge to the attendees.
The main focus of this event is to create a safe environment for all children and their families attending. Most importantly, this event provides joy with free entertainment to our less fortunate families in Fresno.
It is a great opportunity for students attending the university to build bridges and be role models to children that come and enjoy this great event. We also invite any Fresno State students who are interested in volunteering at the event.
With your kind donations and contributions we are hoping to be able to make this carnival bigger, better, and memorable for every kid that attends. With your help, NAK would like to bring more attractions to NAKland. Every dollar you donate will help us put a smile on a child’s face and motive them to strive for excellence and hope to create a change of mindset about school.
In advance, the gentleman of Nu Alpha Kappa Fraternity, Inc. want to thank you for any generous donation. We are also a 501 (C) 3 Non-profit organization. Your contribution may be issued as a tax write off.
Thank you for your consideration.
